Damien Tappy

Damien is co-founder, President and Managing Partner of Endeavour Vision. With more than two decades of working in entrepreneurship and venture capital, Damien has extensive experience in creating, building, turning around and exiting businesses across sectors, including information technology, telecommunications and medical technology. On behalf of Endeavour, Damien has overseen investments in more than 50 companies. He currently serves on the boards of CeQur, Medartis (MED:SW), and Polares, and was previously board member of Symetis (acquired by Boston Scientific), Chairman of Bitplane (acquired by Andor Technology), Chairman of GeneSystems (acquired by Pall Corp) and Director of Cirpack (acquired by Thomson).

Before co-founding Endeavour in 2000, Damien was the founder and Director at the Start-up and Spin-off Program of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). During his tenure, more than 35 spin-offs were launched. In parallel, he served as an expert for new ventures creation at the Swiss Federal Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) in Bern.

Damien holds a business degree (MTE) from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, an MEng in Micro-technology with honours from the EPFL and, early in his career, he worked as an International Fellow on projects in the field of medical imaging with the Stanford Research Institute in California. Damien also served as an Officer in the French Air Force.

Damien is a member of the Young President Organisation (YPO), a global platform for chief executives to engage, learn and grow.
